AAWA Undergraduate Women's Merit Scholarship
(Independent Scholarship, not obtained through ECC Foundation)

Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:

• Be enrolled as a full-time student at Erie Community College taking a minimum of eight semester hours and be pursuing an AAS or BS degree or a certification program
• A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 (out of 4.0) or 3.5 (out of 5.0)
• Be a female above 30 years old
• Show financial need

All applicants must include:

• A completed application form
• A Verification of Enrollment Form signed and completed by the program director (A letter of provisional acceptance is not acceptable.)
• Three references from educators and/or employers who can provide an evaluation of the applicant's professional and academic performance, at least one educator's reference is required.
• Official transcripts from the three most recent post-secondary institutions attended (Applicants cannot be considered without all applicable official transcripts.)
